The Municipality owns and manages the Lake Huron shoreline within the Municipality of Kincardine which is currently being severely impacted by the invasive species Common Reed (Phragmites australis). Due to the aggressive and invasive nature of this plant it is recommended that a combination of herbicides and prescribed burns be used to bring the infestation under control.

KINCARDINE, ON – The Rural Medicine Retreat Grey Bruce is set to begin today, August 25th, in the Municipality of Kincardine. The three-day event sees 20 physicians and their families visiting the community.
The intersection at Queen Street and Durham Street will be closed Thursday, August 24th, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for work that's part of the Downtown Dig Kincardine.
