KINCARDINE, ON – Over a century ago, in the years following his death, the patients and friends of Dr. Solomon Secord chose to put up two monuments in his honour.
Staff presented a draft Bruce Telecom Legacy Fund Policy, which would hold the net proceeds from the sale of Bruce Telecom Holdings Inc. in perpetuity. The Policy provides the framework on how the investments would be managed and how the investment earnings would be utilized.
KINCARDINE, ON – Living along a waterfront has innumerable benefits, but there are also associated hazards. Since 2008, a total of 13 drownings and near-miss incidents have occurred in the waters near the Kincardine piers. A long-standing ban on swimming or jumping from the piers is already in place.
There will be a water service interruption while a hydrant is relocated for properties on Huron Terrace on Monday, March 11th, 2024, between the approximate hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
There will be lane reductions for South Line between Highway 21 and Sideroad 5 on Wednesday, March 6th, AND Thursday, March 7th, 2024, as construction work is completed. This work is expected to run from approximately 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days and travelers should be prepared for possible delays.
